LEADERSHIP ACCEPTS PLAQUE
Queen City High School has partnered with Learning for Life to create opportunities for leadership. Teacher, Mandi Stringer, and the QCHS leadership team was awarded the Golden Apple award for outstanding leadership for the 2016-2017 school year. The leadership group took on multiple tasks in the school and community throughout the school year such as, buddy reading with JKH, helping MUMS with the effort to help flood victims at Deweyville schools, video announcements at QCHS, and organizing and carrying out a district wide benefit fundraiser for Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Quote from Linda Willis, Learning for Life director...
The students immediately wanted to take part in a service learning project…district wide. This was a huge undertaking but the students had put in the time to prepare themselves and were determined to complete the project.  All as a result of an outstanding leader…Mandi Stringer.
