HOTTEST TEAM ON TOUR

Ryan Ream and Dylan Benson prove to be the hottest team on the Ultimate Fishing Tournament Series. Once again the dynamic duo of Ream & Benson finish a-top-of the tournament field with a 1st place finish on Toledo Bend Reservoir. This is the second week in a row that pair has brought home the 1st place hardware.

Hours of preparation, practice, and research go into the 7.5 hours of work on Saturday with the hopes of finishing the day with 5 fish. Ryan and Dylan were able to catch their limit early and cull a few fish through the day and bring a bag of 5 Bass to weigh in at 12.16 lbs. Saturday, November 10th, proved to be a challenge for the student anglers from Queen City High School. Gusting winds and frigid temperatures added to the challenge of the legendary Toledo Bend fishery. Fin and Feather Resort in Toledo Bend was the host Marina for the Ultimate Fishing Tournament this month.

The Ultimate Fishing Tournament has 100 boats fishing in 7 tournaments that start in September and run through April. Each month the student anglers face a new challenge from one if the fabled East Texas fishing hot spots: Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake O' Pines, Toledo Bend South, Sam Rayburn, Lake Fork, Toledo Bend North, and Wright Patman Lake. Student Anglers work hard throughout the year to earn a spot in the Ultimate Fishing Classic Tournament. Ultimate Fishing gave thousands of dollars in scholarships to student anglers last year and this will continue this year when the final standings are released after the Classic in May.
