2019 Nationals Results

On May 9th, 30 Queen City archers competed in the 2019 NASP Eastern Nationals Tournament in Louisville, KY along with 14,950 other archers across the U.S. in grades 4-12.  Both our Elementary and Middle School teams competed very well as they represented Queen City on the national level.

Caleb Kimble did it again!

Queen City 5th grader, Caleb Kimble, qualified for the World Tournament individually and placed 33rd out of 2,525 boys in the Nation in the Elementary Division.

The Queen City Elementary Archery team advanced to the highly anticipated 2019 NASP World Championship to be held on July 25th-27th. Queen City archers will travel to the Music City Center in Nashville, TN where archers across the Nation and around the world will compete for the championship. The Elementary Team's total score was 2912 placing them at 4th out of the 9 elementary division teams from the State of Texas and 83rd out of 207 teams across the Nation competing at Nationals this year. They boosted their team score total by 253 points from their shooting performance last year at the NASP Eastern National tournament. This will be the elementary team’s first trip to the NASP World Championship.

The Elementary Team consisted of the following students:
Caleb Kimble, Hunter Warren, Ryan Raines, Elizabeth Bickham, Makenna Hamilton, Aden Bolt, Carson Caver, Gracie Alexander, Chris Brown, Kingston Boyter, Macy Snelgrove, Tanner Lund, Mason Satterfield, Abigale Bickham, and Anna Leigh Young.

As first-time competitors on the National stage, the Middle School Team scored 3139 placing them at 83rd out 200 middle school division teams from the State of Texas and 144th out of 270 middle school division teams competing from across the Nation. The Middle School team was just 11 points shy of advancing to the World Championship.

Representing our Middle School team was Kade Burden, Bailey Endsley, Keeli Mainer, Briseida Rivera, Clint Wiley, Brenna Turbeville, Isaac Thomas, Emily Raines, Jeremiah Henderson, Aubrie Kiser, Brayden Wiley, Mason Campbell, Brooklyn Beers, Micah Whittington, and Ty Waldon.

Congratulations to all those that competed!

We are so proud of all our Queen City archers and we wish the Elementary Team luck as they advance to the World Championship in July.
